With 45 years of offshore experience in seismic and positioning I feel that I can offer your organization unequaled assistance in planing and supervision of your exploration and positioning projects. The years spent with GSI and Aquatic Exploration (Hunt Oil) as Observer, Field Service Technician, Analogue Processing Operator, Instrument Engineer, and Party Manager, are there to assist you with your technical decisions and planning.

In the bygone days of analogue processing where static's were hand picked and Techno tape heads mechanically shifted to apply the static corrections was a valuable background for what is required for superior seismic data sections. New technologies in data processing today are still only as good as the basic data acquisition and positioning quality.

As a consultant for the last 30 years I have participated in many interesting projects including 2D, 3D, 4D, & OBC seismic operations, base station location, site surveys, submersible operations, rig positioning and the positioning of the drilling template for the Maureen production platform.

Over these years I have worked closely with small and large oil companies, including seismic and positioning contractors assisting in bid evaluation, contract negotiation , survey planning, joint venture set up, planning and operations, involving government departments and private companies. One of the most interesting and challenging projects was as a contract Party Chief for a Russian seismic company to assist them with their venture in to the European exploration market chartered to a Norwegian seismic contractor.
